The most dreadful law paper was finally over! Left with Marketing paper and one more presentation and I'm freaking done with Spring sem! I rmb complaining how Spring sem gonna be so dreadful with so many core modules. AND NOW!!!! In less than a month I gonna be in Vegas. I havent planned anything yet but it's a mixed feeling!

 CNY eve with my lovely families!!! Uncle topped a big pot of pen cai and I couldn't stop them from having shark fins. Look at the big tray of fins ): I actually don't mind eating TRAYS of abalone...

 And although I'm growing old, I thank for all the ang bao cause each one is a blessing. Not a lot of money but at least I'm half a k richer for Vegas and I had saved them alr!

Before CNY ends, the usual bball people gathered at WS's house this year round. His parents are still as awesome, we had sooo much food for steamboat and we had so much fun for the whole day! It's like we are growing old together, celebrating and gathering every CNY.

Now that, every occassion had past, I'm bombarded by sooo much work this sem. I gonna die. 10 more weeks to end this torturous sem and then I will be busy preparing for Vegas!

So how I feel being OLD... Rmb a year ago when I was busy with the planning of the 21st party.. And now I am another year older.

Celebrated with my family on 1 Jan. Unfortunately, I woke up to very bad stomach. For the whole day, I was so sick, twj prepared organic fruits salad but I merely had half. ): Since it was PH, my dad was free and I really wanted some family time... SO... I tried any methods to make myself feel better like taking eno, drinking HOT lemon water, forcing ginger tea/juice and whatnot. 

 Asked aunt n uncle along since they were at our place and they are my next closest kins beside my family I would say. heh! They have treated us like their own kids since young and ofc my dad wouldn't say no to having his sister joining us. 

 The bill was $400 plus , not the most exp dinner outside but I appreciate it DAD! But do not go for buffet when u are not feeling well. hah! 

2 Jan, Dinner with bball friends. A lot of them couldn't make it and apologised to me, I really don't mind! I appreciate ur thoughts. We had dinner at buffet city and I doubt we will be back again. Thankfully, I recovered. I was whinning what a 2014 to begin with but I shan't things for granted. Despite work and NS, they insisted on a dinner AND desserts which got me really puzzled. We walked from Tanjong Pagar to Chinatown but all shops were closed so they pulled all to SK Square hahaha My cousin agreed to send those (staying in bedok, punggol, amk) back because.....

 They wanted to surprise me with this slice of cheese cake. WAH I WAS REALLY TAKEN ABACK. I SWEAR. I'm so touched ok Jack. U are my best cousin. HAHAHA! It's not a whole cake that they can each enjoy one slice. They actually hid the cake from me after dinner. Honestly, u guys are not one of the sweetest friends I have but I am really touched by the gesture that night. It's funny how all of us met. I knew some of u guys for 10 years alr and I hope we can all see one another grow since the age range among us is so different!

Spent it with twj. And we tried Muthu's curry at Suntec. I love the butter chicken, I love how they use spices instead of MSG, salt and whatnot.

 I spent my birthday morning giving tuition and I went to get him a slice of cake since his 10th bday fell on 6 Jan hahah! He remembered my bday which surprised me. He loves that gigantic pen haha! I almost gave up on him cause he was soooooo mischievious but thank god for the perseverance, I'm glad all works well now. His parents are really kind to me too!

 We ordered a lot of food and the total bill was nearly a $100 which wasn't unreasonable for 4A1C right.

Although belated, but I won't mind hahaha I held my 21st on 5jan2013 too! As long as I got my whole(not exactly) family with me, I'm blessed.

I started preparing all the food at 2pm. I told mum that I wanted to cook when Dad wanted to do a buffet for me. Being able to cook for my family is not something I can do everyday so count my blessing. Too bad I couldn't get the Eldest cousinssss and family to join. I made enoki bacon, pan-fried garlic butter scallop, cha soba, miso soup, chawanmushi, teriyaki chicken, tempura prawn, calamari, garlic dou miao, garlic fried wings and popcorn chicken. Mum cooked a big pot of fried rice. The food seem so simple to prepare but I really underestimated them. 

 No matter what, I'm glad they enjoyed!

 Had dinner with the girls and Kenrick @ Relish! We had so much to talk and laugh that night. AND this siewbao, it's a pity u are not joining Mediacorp. They tricked me and I got fooled. FIRST TIME. I'm always the one to trick them. hahaha! I WAS SO SHOCKED and SURPRISED. Thank u for the bag, voucher and cakes! Bao, thanks for ur handmade card! 

I am literally tasting happiness every bite cause Sze n bao got them from Holland V. I love u girls vvvv much.

I had no idea why but this year I seemed busier than last year. hahah But I enjoyed each n every outing/dinner with u all. It's my blessings and I cherish them. 

My 'break' is coming to an end soon and I dread Spring sem. HAISH. 6 freaking modules, I shall conquer u bit by bit. Serious savings begins!!!!.... After CNY. haha I need to save for Vegas and now I'm working very hard for it. I am v tired at times but I know it gonna be worthed it. Thankfully for the MOE bursary, it's freaking $2.2k pls go n apply okay my friends. If u are luckier, pls apply for the $2.8k one. That's all the taxes ur family has been paying for life. Claim them back! Today my K2 boy was really cooperating and their mum treated me to her homemade pineapple tarts! Awww today is a good day and I managed to go Vegetarian till 6pm!
